What is a Wellness Coach?!

As a WELLness Coach,  I work one-on-one with individuals who want to improve their well-being. Using concepts drawn from psychology, behavior change, and life coaching fields, we will work together to help you overcome obstacles to maintain SUSTAINABLE habits to create the life you want.

My clients work with me for any number of reasons, including:

  • Improving interpersonal relationships

  • Understanding ones personal story and journey

  • Reducing stress 

  • Reducing TOXIC load. Improving physical environment 

  • Eating a more inclusive nutrition plan- consider supplementation 

  • Achieving better work, life, and personal boundaries 

  • Increasing life satisfaction

  • Prioritizing self awareness 

  • Improving relationships with food, alcohol, drugs, tobacco, and movement

Naturally, these kinds of issues overlap. A WELLness coach looks at what’s preventing their client from thriving physically, mentally, and emotionally. Then, I give my clients the tools they need as I support them towards reaching their goals.

It is important to note that a WELLness coach isn’t the same as the services offered by certified specialists like nutritionists or personal trainers. While coaches should have broad healthcare knowledge across many disciplines to inform their work, coaches aren’t legally qualified to give clients professional nutritional or fitness advice without further certification. I am fortunate to be certified in Personal Training, Nutrition, The Science of Diet, Yoga, Prenatal Wellness, Digital Wellness, Coaching, and Mental Health First Aid.

Updates to the Website!

In addition to the some of the color changes, I made changes to the website content to reflect and better represent all of my offerings and outside resources. Understanding the need to shift and orient my work towards women’s wellness as a whole has been a wonderful pivot, and I cannot wait to dive deeper into the topics of fueling, engaging, and nurturing the mind, body, and spirit!
