A Circular Economy

A circular economy is a system aimed at eliminating waste and the continual use of resources.
Sounds like a lot of work, right?

But it is a simple as making a few small changes.

Every March (tax time) we clear out files from the past year (and I inevitably get rid of school records, notes and kids art projects).

Last year we started thinking of this waste differently.

We saved all the paper in a crate to use as starter paper for our out door fire pits.

Then we take the ashes and put them in our garden (I will save the benefits for another time).

We created our very own circular economy. Circular systems reuse, share, repair, refurbish, and reduce to create a closed-loop system, minimizing the impact on our environment.
